As of September 26, 2017 the shortcode or “identification number” you will use to request “HELP” and receive Enrollment Opt-In information changes from 707-56 to 207-33.  

An added security measure Allied Federal Credit Union has implemented a new notification system that will further assist you, our members, when there is possible suspicious activity on your Visa debit/check card, 7 days a week, between 8:00 a.m. – 9:00 p.m. This 3rd party Fraud Detection Center can be either a live person, or an automated system, that will identify itself through call as Allied Federal Credit Union or text as Allied FCU.

As an Allied Federal Credit Union debit card holder you will receive a message from short code: 20733 to accept (reply YES) or decline (reply STOP) the Opt In message that comes through from our Fraud Detection Center. Please make sure to have all your accounts updated with your cell phone number.

Remember with any 3rd party affiliated company, AFCU always has your financial safety and security in mind. During these  calls:

  • You will not be called and asked for your account number or full Social Security Number.

  • They will have authorization to verify transactions that may be restricting your card.

  • They will have the ability to close a card due to fraudulent activity.

  • They can un-restrict a card if a flagged transaction is not fraudulent.

Any other debit/check card issues must be taken care of in office with a Financial Services Officer during regular business hours, Monday through Friday 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
