Allied Federal Credit Union Staff Dress Casual to Support Fire Prevention

[Arlington, Texas] – Employees of Allied Federal Credit Union donated $150 worth of batteries to the Mansfield Fire Department in October for Fire Prevention Month. The batteries will be used for replacement smoke detectors throughout the community.

Every month, Allied FCU employees pay money to wear casual clothing as part of the credit union’s community outreach initiative called Casual for a Cause. That money benefits a local organization selected by Allied’s Casual for a Cause committee.

“We take pride in supporting those on the front lines in our community,” said Allied CEO Tonia Clark. “They serve day in and day out, not only responding to emergencies, but also preventing them from happening. We are proud of all the employees who participated and for the chance to be a part of preventing fires in our community.”

Allied FCU has a long history of supporting the communities of Arlington and Mansfield and is committed to supporting those who serve the community they love. Allied continually tells its members, “We’re not just here for you. We are you.” The credit union’s employees live, work, worship, shop and attend school in the same places their members do, making Allied an integral part of the communities they serve.
